At Her Voice Daily, we are driven by a need for the female voice and perspective across every aspect of life.

Her Voice Daily was set up in direction opposition to the 'trending misogyny' perpetuated by certain world leaders, CEOs and chauvinistic podcasters. Founder and Editor Finvola Dunphy spent years reporting for national, regional and international news organisations. On the rare occasions she was working for a female boss - it still didn't seem matter a jot as to the type of content she was expected to produce or the stories and narratives she wanted to pursue. That is because the big BIG boss was always male, powerful, wealthy and out-of-touch.
It became glaringly obvious that there was and is a need for female-led journalism, investigative reporting and independent analysis told for Her, by Her. So she set out to set up Her Voice Daily with one clear agenda - to amplify to female voice and perspective in news and in life- and that includes the fun bits too! We’re not all shoes and babies but we sure love them!

We are devoted to accurate reporting, transparency of sources, and fair and independent analysis. HerVoiceDaily strives to verify and corroborate information via a range of sources whenever possible. HerVoiceDaily grants anonymity to sources in order that they can provide information in the public interest without putting themselves at risk; HerVoiceDaily does not grant anonymity to sources so they can evade accountability. We proudly upload the IPSO code of journalistic practice and ethics as the backbone of our editorial judgement.

Corrections
HerVoiceDaily is devoted to correcting any misstatements in a timely manner, with a correction note appended to the bottom of the corresponding article. More prominent notices may be included for more egregious errors. We will only retract an article after extensive review by our senior editorial team finds fundamental flaws in the reporting, and always accompanied by an editor’s note.
